"The author does an excellent job of exploring how far people will go to ensure their own survival. I thoroughly enjoyed "Ice Princess" and hope the author continues with a 3rd installment!" - K. Dawe

"I highly recommend this very interesting, post-apocalyptic story of the ties that a person develops between family and friends, and the creation of those ties." - Katy Sozaeva

Tanya Kurkova is still wanted. The technology used to rebuild her can’t be allowed to fall into the wrong hands. This time her father has sent a new hunter after her. A new hunter with the same technology plus years of experience and unlimited resources.

What he doesn’t have is a clear memory of the last year of his life. The answers to his questions lie in the desolate wilderness of southeastern Utah. One way or another, she has to be brought in.

For Tanya once escape becomes impossible only one option remains revenge.

Ice Princess Wanted Series Book 2 eBook Jason Halstead

I read "Ice Princess" because I wanted to see where it was going to pick up and go from the ending of "Wanted." Again, it felt rushed and choppy, even though one gets the gist of where the story line is going. I figured the Ice Princess was going to end up being Tanya, however, there really was no story line as to how and why she was being called the Ice Princess. There wasn't much of a backstory to build that character change in her.

The parts of the story involving Sarah and her sister doesn't add anything to the entire story itself, other than we know Sarah is a bounty hunter and her sister was another whore. Leaving their relationship out of the story wouldn't have changed the end effect. I felt it, and a lot more, was just filler for the story line itself. The entire story seemed as though it was quickly written, with quick action scenarios being presented in several paragraphs without building to a climax of exciting and intense completion. It was like; "Okay, that part is done, let's move on."

This second book was no better in editing than the first one. Again, the author needs an editor, or he needs to conduct his own proof reading if he continues with his writing. I'll read another novel by this author, just to give him the opportunity to self-evaluate and learn from these reviews. However, three strikes and he'll be out of my author's list.

Ice Princess Wanted Series Book 2 eBook Jason Halstead Reviews

Too rushed, too problematic, too contrived, and far too error prone. I had to correct a ton of sentences just because they weren't written right, just so I could make it through this book. The first was pretty bad for that too, but this one was an education on how not to grammar and spell check.
A fitting end to the story. I would have a much more messie ending. This was a little to much of a happy ending. The characters were too mucked up to finish with all their wishes fulfilled. A little more realistic ending would be more appropriate. Good read anyway keep up the great work.
Sorry to say this but the book reads more like a soft porn magazine than a quality story. Too bad as I enjoyed the first book in the series. I won't be reading the rest.
I read the first in this series and thought it was a really good story. I know, for an author, it must be really hard to make a sequel as good as the first story. It is not bad, it just does not have the edge the first story had. However, for a pa story it did have its high points. I have read other series by Mr. Halstead and his characters are very interesting. I will read more by him.
A nice end to a well thought out story. I believe I liked the first book best since it was filled so many twists n turns keeping one on their toes, so to speak. This one had very little conflict, protect, rescue, it was, simply pour, a little boring in comparison. I love the characters and plan on purchasing no three just as soon as I'm through here. Hopefully it will not only include the three main characters but also some info about the sisters too.
***There are SPOILERS in this review!***

Oh I wanted to like this book so much! I loved the 1st book "Wanted", and was quite disappointed when it ended so suddenly! So I had to buy the sequel. I wish I hadn't. Totally ruined it for me.

To start, there were so many typos/grammatical errors, and sentences that just didn't make sense (or words were out of order, what's with that?). Yes, there were a few in the 1st book, but this seemed very sloppy in comparison. Did the author hurry this out in response to the popularity of the 1st?

Second, the characters all underwent personality changes! I can understand why Carl did, brain damage and all, but Jessie went from being a relatively strong, capable woman in "Wanted" to a weak, simpering, needy annoyance in "Ice Princess". I liked her in the 1st book, hated her in the 2nd. Dustin wasn't even in this book other than a few mentions, but he ends up being the bad guy? I'm not going to complain about Carl, because with brain damage you expect personality changes, but I did not like him in this book. And Tanya lived up to the title of the book.

I didn't like the addition of new characters either. I expected more focus on Tanya and Jessie, but Sarah was more of the focus, and I tried to like her, but she grated on my nerves as well.

Also, it was so short! Under 3000 locations. After "Wanted" being a full-length novel (and free, and fantastic!), this was such a disappointment. If there was a 3rd book, I would not buy it. So disappointed.
My review is only for the audio version, NOT regular kindle edition. Who employed this guy to narrate this story? He is terrible! His cadence is so choppy, he sounds like Christopher Walken. And he reads the female voices like they're weak and shaky, and his voice for Carl sounds like a 60 year old gold prospector. The first book put Carls age as, what, in his early 40's? I can't even finish the audio version lest it ruin the book for me. I'm going back to the edition so I can continue to actually enjoy this excellent story. Nice try, Audible, but you have failed to impress me.
